UPWARD FLOW STIRRERS

   The upward flow stirrer mixes without introducing air. The unique, continuousshearing and blending action occurs entirely below the solution’s surface, creating a thorough mixing action without foaming or splashing. Even at high speeds in nearly full containers, there is minimal surface disturbance.
  The upward flow stirrer may be used effectively in many procedures. It may be used with pharmaceuticals, coetics,paints, inks, petroleum, and foods. It is also useful in stirring hot and cold solutions in all or large volumes. It can provide rapid disbursement or re-suspension of heat-sensitive substances, proteins, oils, or food essences. It also emulsifies liquids of different densities, dissolves low-solublesolids, and resuspends bacteria into solution. Operation in open containers of all sizes is possible.
  All wetted parts are made ofcleaning. The self-lubricating TFE bushing
requires no maintenance and adds to the stirrer’s long life. The shielded stirring blades cannot damage the mixing vessel.
  To use as a conventional stirrer, the stirring blade and shaft may be used without the outer housing.
