00 — generally equivalent to grade 1 (most exacting flatness and accuracy requirements)

K — generally equivalent to grade 00 flatness (paralleli) with grade AS-1 accuracy
塊規(guī)因用途的不同,其亦不同,00級為塊規(guī)中精密者,于試驗室的研究及檢驗各種塊規(guī)或儀器等工作。0級為機械工業(yè)中的標準,用于儀器量規(guī)的校正用。1級為制造精密工具或檢驗工具時使用。2級為工廠中使用較精密工件及檢驗時使用。由于制造00級塊規(guī)的過程相當復雜且費時,為校正塊規(guī)單位采用,需求量較少,晚近長度測量儀器精密度已大大,因此目前00級已漸漸被K級所取代,K級為校正級,其平行度許可差為00級,尺寸許可差為0級,如此制造過程簡化且保持,K級塊規(guī)為塊規(guī)制造廠商所采用方式。
