千分尺校對用塊規(guī)和平晶 （Micrometer Checking Sets ）  

-有一張證明書顯示每個量塊的偏差。
-塊規(guī)具體參數(shù)可以參考NIST標準。
-每個量塊是連續(xù)的。
-配備有合適的木箱。
-平晶具有0.005''的厚度。
-12件裝的特點是2塊檢驗半轉心軸的0.0125''的平晶。
-10件裝和12件裝特點是不同量塊間的結合能檢驗 不同的尺寸范圍。

ANSI/AE）:

00 — generally equivalent to grade 1 (most exacting flatness and accuracy requirements)
0 — generally equivalent to grade 2
AS-1 — generally equivalent to grade 3 (reportedly stands for American Standard - 1)
AS-2 — generally less accurate than grade 3
K — generally equivalent to grade 00 flatness (paralleli) with grade AS-1 accuracy

塊規(guī)因用途的不同，其亦不同，00級為塊規(guī)中精密者，于試驗室的研究及檢驗各種塊規(guī)或儀器等工作。0級為機械工業(yè)中的標準，用于儀器量規(guī)的校正用。1級為制造精密工具或檢驗工具時使用。2級為工廠中使用較精密工件及檢驗時使用。由于制造00級塊規(guī)的過程相當復雜且費時，為校正塊規(guī)單位采用，需求量較少，晚近長度測量儀器精密度已大大，因此目前00級已漸漸被K級所取代，K級為校正級，其平行度許可差為00級，尺寸許可差為0級，如此制造過程簡化且保持，K級塊規(guī)為塊規(guī)制造廠商所采用方式。
