The EWI MTFM-8 seri snake is a profsional quality dual fantail XLR patch snake.  This snake is tically used to extend a snake, used as a drop snake, or used for patching effects.

The male XLR fantail end has a mh grip strain relief. On each XLR fantail, the channels are clearly labeled with indelible ink printed on the tubing at each connector.  The channels are labeled 1 through 8, and they are color coded in groups of 2 each.  The groups are bundled with 3 short, loose fitting piec of clear loom that can be slid up or down the fantail as dired.  This helps keep the fantails from getting tangled and facilitat easy channel identification. The fantail length is about 20" giving you about a 36" to 38" functional spread.

The cable itself is constructed with EWI SMM seri cable with 99.98% pure 22ga. high strand count copper conductors and individually jacketed pairs shielded by 100% coverage spiral shield on each pair.  The connectors are all EWI 3B-GDP XLR models, black anodized cast zinc XLR bodi with gold plated contacts.
