PTL Flexing Test Swivel Machines F39.41

for mechanical tests of 1 or 2 samples, swivel 

angle changeable to ±22,5° ±45°and ±90°, swivel

 frequency adjustable from 0,3 Hz to 1 Hz

1   Rigid housing, made as weldment of 

steel profiles and rectangular steel tubes with 

metal sheet covering 

1   protective window with safety switch inside

 to cover the swivel angle adjustment and the connecting rod 

Chassis to accommodate the control unit, with front panel, with the components (all models): 

1    main switch with “Emergency Stop” function to witch the power for the machine on and off, 1 or 3 pilot lamps for mains voltage on, fuses for the control unit, for the drive motor and for the phases of the test voltage (not at F 39.41) 

1    frequency indicating instrument and rotary knob to adjust the  frequency of the swivelling head motion from approx. 0,3 to 1Hz 

1    predetermining counter, 6 digits 

1    green push-button "I" to start the drive unit, 1 red push-button  "O" to stop the drive unit, 1 blue push-button switch "Inching" for setting the swivel head 

Drive unit for the swivelling movement (all models) 

1    Electric geared motor mounted on motor plate, 

drive gearwheel made of nylon, with  slip friction 

clutch with spring-loading discs to adjust the friction 

force of the clutch,  reduction gearwheel with two 

bearings inside the hub; 

1    crank disk with slot and set bores to cause output 

shaft motion by ±22,5° ±45°and ±92°, hexagon screw 

with fixed sleeve matching to the set bores for fixing 

the connecting rod, sensor which transmits a pulse to the counter at every swivelling movement; 

1   back gear assembly with axle, fixed to the housing, and gearwheel with 2   bearings inside the hub and with bore hole for the connecting rod;  

1    hollow output shaft with 2 bearing units, with welded flange to fix the swivel head or other adapters, gearwheel to double the movement of the back gear shaft, fixed to the output shaft by a clamping connection-by this, a turning of the shaft relative to the gearwheel is possible; 

1   connecting rod, to turn the rotating movement of the crank disc to the swivelling  movement of the back gear, with bearing heads on each end.

The output shaft flange is fitted with a square shaped 

pattern of threaded bore holes. Here, any kind of  

fixtures can be mounted. 

A slide unit is standard outfit. It is mounted to the 

output shaft flange by means of  2 clamp bars. 

Here, too, any kind of fixtures can be mounted, 

now with possibility for coarse and fine adjustment 

of the hight. 

For any kind of plugs or couplers, a swivel head is standard outfit. Fitted with bushings and fitting plates, 2 adapters with diameter 48 mm can be fixed. The swivel head allows to turn the samples by 90°very&n
